Veronica torres
Veterinary Technician
Hey everyone! My name is Veronica and I grew up in a military family from Southern California. My whole childhood was in some form of way has been dedicated to animals.
​​
Living in Central America, Panama is where I became incredibly interested in working with dogs when I witnessed a veterinarian going town to town to take care of the local street dogs and was treating dogs for the less fortunate.
​
I was hooked and wanted to do something similar.
​
Today I am a newly grad from St. Petersburg College with an AS in Veterinary Technology and will be sitting for my VTNE in the Spring of 2025 to become an official CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician [in the state of Florida]).
​
I am RECOVER CPR: BLS & Fear Free Certified.
​
Working with and educating our local communities, improving the Human-Animal Bond and always researching and enhancing my skill sets to help as many pets and people in need is what I truly thrive for.
​
My family and I have an English Bulldog Mix, a black DMH, and a German Giant Bearded Dragon.
