At Vet Tech 2 U, our mission is to bridge the gap between the veterinary community and the local communities we serve by bringing skilled, compassionate, Fear Free–focused veterinary technician care directly into the homes of pets and their families.
We believe veterinary care extends beyond the walls of a clinic. By providing personalized in-home services, education, and support, we strive to make appropriate veterinary technician care more accessible while reducing stress for pets, empowering their families, and strengthening the human-animal bond.
At the heart of what we do is collaboration. We recognize the importance of the Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) and the vital role it plays in safe, ethical, and coordinated veterinary care. VT2U is not a replacement for your veterinarian—we are an extension of the veterinary team.
When a VCPR is established, we work alongside your pet’s veterinary team and within the appropriate direction and scope of veterinary technician practice. This allows us to provide technician-led care, education, monitoring, and support in the home while keeping your veterinarian connected to your pet’s overall medical care and decision-making.
We also believe in the people behind veterinary medicine. VT2U is committed to creating opportunities for veterinary technicians and other veterinary professionals to use their knowledge and skills, continue developing professionally, and contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve.
Our vision is bigger than simply bringing veterinary services to your doorstep. We want to help create a stronger connection between veterinary professionals, pet families, and the communities we call home—while advocating for the value, expertise, and important role of veterinary technicians.

Hey everyone! My name is Veronica, and I grew up in a military family in Southern California. From a young age, my life has always been centered around animals in one way or another.
While living in Central America, Panama, I became especially interested in veterinary medicine after witnessing a veterinarian travel from town to town providing care for local street dogs and underserved communities. That experience had a lasting impact on me and inspired me to follow a similar path.
From that moment on, I was hooked.
Today, I am a graduate of St. Petersburg College with an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology. I passed the VTNE in Winter 2025 and am proud to be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in the state of Florida. I am also a Fear Free Certified Professional and RECOVER CPR certified in both BLS and ALS.
Although I have been active in the veterinary field for more than 20 years, I still enjoy working on the clinic floor. One of my greatest passions is serving as a surgical technician. At the same time, my professional interests have continued to evolve, and my heart is increasingly drawn toward physical rehabilitation and sports medicine. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in these areas to help pets recover, perform at their best, and enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
My passion also lies in working with and educating local communities, strengthening the human-animal bond, and continually growing as a veterinary professional so I can help as many pets and people as possible.
Outside of work, I share my home with my son Kevin, a black domestic medium-hair cat, Sir Douglas the 2st (yes, you read that correctly), and a German Giant Bearded Dragon named JB.
